Kishtwar September 15:- Educated Unemployed Youth Association Kishtwar demands for removal of encroachment from District Hospital Kishtwar. In a press statement issued by EUYA, the president of the organization Ajaiz Hussain Naik and other members of the organization show his anguish over the pathetic condition of District Hospital Kishtwar. Mr. Ajaiz in his statement said that Kishtwar hospital has upgraded from Sub District Hospital to District Hospital in the year 2007 when Government accorded District status to Kishtwar. He said that the medical supply to District Hospital Kishtwar is very less as per the requirement and poor patients have to purchase the medicine from open market. He said that due to non availability of medicine and shortage of doctors in District Hospital Kishtwar, local people face lot of hardship.
He said that despite the people of Kishtwar apprised the government many times about the shortage of staff in DH Kishtwar, but nothing has been done so far. He also showed his concern about the empathetic condition of bathrooms in hospital. He appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to play its part in redressing the genuine problem of people of Kishtwar District in respect to DH Kishtwar.
