| IIPS Jammu Organized Guest Lecture | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 15: IIPS Jammu has organized a Guest Lecture on Wednesday. The speaker on the occasion was Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Director of Procurement at Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Mumbai. He is also the Founder Member and General Secretary of Hospitality Purchasing Managers Forum and has delivered many lectures in B-Schools across country. The topic of discussion was “Scope for Management Graduates in Hospitality Sector & how to further one’s career as a Manager’. The service industry and as such hospitality sector is growing at a fast pace and there is much growth and career opportunities in the same. Nagrale stressed upon the need for management graduates to be focused on their careers and make intelligent choices. He also offered placements for the final year students.
The session was highly interactive wherein the students asked many questions related to the hospitality sector and cleared their doubts. Speaking on the occasion, Campus Head, Dr. K.K. Sabharwal said that IIPS always takes initiative to provide its students with extra knowledge apart from classroom studies so as to groom their personality and to shape them into successful mangers of future. The students highly appreciated the session.
