. CJ lays foundation of Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 15- Chief Justice J&K High Court, Justice F. M. Ibrahim Kalifullah today laid the foundation stone of Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre at Batmaloo. Built at a cost of Rs 1.69 crore, the Centre is hoped to speed up justice delivery system in the State through alternative resolution and arbitration. Speaking on the occasion, he advised the government to pilot this concept so that pendency of cases is reduced. He also laid stress on close coordination between executive and judiciary so that justice is done to people at the earliest. Present on the occasion were Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Justice Hasnain Masoodi, Justice J.P. Singh, judges of subordinate Courts, Members and President Bar Association, Secretary Law, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr Abdul Majid Mir, IGP, Mr S. M. Sahai Kashmir, other senior officers of civil and police administration.
