9/16/2011 7:51:06 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 16:-National Panthers Party (Youth Wing) today took serious note of proposed debate on so-called Human Rights Violation in J&K by the British Parliament (House of Commons).
Addressing the press conference at Party Headquarters here today, Pushvinder Singh Manhas (Sr. Vice-President, Young Panthers and In-charge NPSU) lambasted British Government for allowing such discussion in the House of Commons and also condemned the conservative MP, Steve Baker for attempting to create a serious wedge in the relation of India and Britain.
He described the move as ISI sponsored game plan to infuse oxygen into the dying militancy in J&K and shall not be tolerated at any stage or in any situation. He said that the move to debate J&K in the British Parliament as a direct interference into the internal affairs of India which may have serious repercussions on Indo-British relations. This act on the part of British Parliament shall amount to the violation of Article 2 of UN Charter and unmask the colonial face of British Parliament.
Manhas declared that Young Panthers and NPSU will hold strong protest demonstrations from Monday onwards and warned international states not to unnecessarily intervene in the internal matters of India and he also lambasted the central government of India who have kept mum till date and could not utter even a single word till date in the condemnation of such debate.
Manhas also declared that from October, 2011 onwards, NPSU and Young Panthers will hold protest demonstrations and boycott the colleges of Jammu province to highlight the demand of Re-organisation of J&K state which is also the Agenda 2011 of JKNPP. He said that if required, the protest demonstrations will be intensified time to time to stress upon their demand of Re-organisation of J&K state.
