| Presentation Convent students visit Raj Bhavan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Sep 16:- A group of 95 students from the Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Rajbagh, Srinagar, visited Raj Bhavan here today and met Governor N N Vohra, and First Lady Usha Vohra.
The students were accompanied by Sister Reggy, Vice Principal of the School, and four of their teachers during their first ever visit to the Raj Bhavan, which was organized on the invitation of the First Lady after a recent visit to the Presentation Convent.
The children were delighted at this memorable opportunity of being hosted by the Governor and the First Lady and to be able to go around the Raj Bhavan lawns. The children were shown around the lawns and the gardens by the Raj Bhavan staff and a senior officer of the Floriculture Department, Javed Ahmad Shah.
The Governor and the First Lady interacted with the children, enquired from them about their studies and hobbies and wished them a bright future ahead. They presented gifts to the children and hosted lunch for them.
The children thanked the Governor and the Lady Governor for providing them an opportunity to visit the Raj Bhavan.
The Principal Secretary to the Governor, R K Goyal, was also present on the occasion.
