IMFAA Demands Bifurcation of J&K Cultural Academy in two regions | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 16 : Institute of Music and Fine Arts Alumni immediately demand bifurcation of J&K Cultural Academy into two regions of Jammu and Kashmir for better administration and proper promotion of Culture, Art and Languages.
Ashwani Sharma President IMFAA demand that it will stop favourtism and nepotism. Each region is full with potential of the artists, writers etc. for this Govt. of J&K bifurcate Cultural Academy and further trifurcate it in three wings and put directly under the control I.A.S. Officer of J&K Government Ministry of Culture. Sharma demanded this will stop bungling and save crores of rupees spend on the Darbar Move and T.A/D.A. for false official meetings in each capital.
An immediate enquiry should be start through vigilance department or crime branch in appointments and promotions without following the norms laid by the constitution of the Academy.
The rule said that any Academy employee in the executive cadre Head Assistant, Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant. Section Officer must pass Secretariat training in clerical or account section. But Secretary and his associates six Additional Secretaries deferred the law and promote their blue eyed and sycophants. Retired employees of the Academy are also interfering in the matter of cultural programmes and promotion and they are seeking money from the artists in lieu of programmes and other things.
