| Food served to patients at GMC&H unhygienic, alleges HSS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 16:The Hindu Shiv Sena (HSS) Jammu Kashmir has received several complaints from the patients admitted in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu through their attendants wherein they have mentioned that proper food is not served to them by the hospital authorities.
To cross check the allegation, Hindu Shiv Sena Jammu Kashmir, deputed a team of workers under the supervision of their president Krishan Manhas who was accompanied by Arjun Sharma, Distt president of Sena.
The team visited the GMC&H while the food was served to the patients. The Sena workers took the sample of food served to the patients and placed it before the Principal GMC&H.
The Shiv Sena activists alleged that the food was un-hygienically served to the patients by the bearers who were without uniform and caps.
They said that the food was served according to the menu, however, the quality of the food was worst.
The Principal GMC&H, alter inspecting the sample of food have assured to the Sena workers that he will look into this matter personally and will do the needful.
Krishan Manhas warned the principal that if the progress in maintaining the quality of the food as per the menu is not served to the patients by the bearers in proper uniform, the Hindu Shiv Sena will go for an agitation against the hospital authorities.
