NIA gets 7 days remand of two terror suspects, non-locals also under scanner | | | Asif Iqbal Naik KISHTWAR, Sept 16: National Investigating Agency alongwith Kishtwar police produced accused Amir Abbas Dev (19) and Hilal Amin (18) before session judge and sought seven days police remand. Court granted the remand of the both to NIA and Kishtwar police. Both were arrested by investigating team on Wednesday. Meanwhile, non-locals from Bihar, Orissa, Nepal, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and from other parts of the country working as labour class in Kishtwar District are now under the scanner of investigating agencies after some intelligence agencies reported that the members of Indian Mujahdeen, HuJI or other militant organization may have visited the Kishtwar for planning and execution of Delhi High Court blasts. Meanwhile several parents of in Kishtwar District whose children's are studying outside the state were in state of chaos and confusion after the terror email episode became the headline of print and electronic media. It is worthwhile to mention that NIA and Kishtwar police has questioned more than 80 peoples so far in connection with email send from Kishtwar claiming the responsibility of Delhi High court blast and out of those Shariq Khawar Butt, Abid Hussain Bhawani, Amir Abbas Dev and Hilal Amin were official booked under FIR No: 238 registered on the instance of NIA at police Station Kishtwar. Whereas Café In charge Ashwani Kumar is still under police detention alongwith Café owner Mehmood Khawja who is allowed to go home during night hours. As off now, No charges has been framed so far against Ashwani Kumar and Mehmood Khawaja. |
