JAMMU, Sep 17:Municipal Employees Union (Ministerial) of Jammu Municipal Corporation has hailed the Union Government’s decision to release 7% DA in favour of central government employees.
In a meeting of Municipal Employees Union held under the chairmanship of its president Rohit George President, the members thanked the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh for releasing DA in favour of Central Government employees.
The Union demanded and requested to the state Government to immediately release 7% D.A. in favour of state Government employees as the prices of essential commodities are increasing day by day and it has become difficult for the lower salary
class employees to feed their families.
The members who participated in the meeting were Koushal Kumar, Jeevan Singh, Mohd Shariff, Basanti Razdan, Gopal Krishan, Amarjeet Singh Rakesh Kumar, Ravinder Bhat, Sharda Kumari, Sunaina, Jasbir Singh, Sat Pal , Ramesh Kumar, Rajesh Gupta,Madan Baru, Sushil Singh, Ashwani Sharma Kamaldeep Singh, Ramesh Bhagat, Sohan Lal Satish Kohli, Jagdish Singh, Vijay Kumar, Ruksana Bano, Jyoti Jamwal, Ramesh Kumar, Ajay Verma, Gulshan Kumar, Ajeet Kumar Krishan Singh and Naresh Kumar
