| Education Zone Khari conducts Community Mobilization Programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 17:A community Mobilization Programme was conducted in Education Zone Khari at Govt. Middle School Seeran Khari.
A large number of Village Education Committee members (VEC), parents, Sarpanch, Panch, students and teachers were present.
Tariq Sayed District co-ordinator (Gender) in the inaugural address highlighted the need of enrolling the children in the schools. He emphasized and underlined that in Zone Khari where less care is paid for girl education needs appropriate steps on war footing basis for enrolling the girls in the schools.
As education is the main agency for bringing the social change, teachers as well as parents have to play pivotal role vis-à-vis enrolling the children in the schools and mobilizing the community for developing appropriate conducive school environment.
Javaid Ahmed Wani District co-ordinator (Pedagogy) underlined the need of developing friendly environment in schools so that all the children will learn in a congenial and homely atmosphere and he also stressed on the need for improving quality education by using modern pedagogical approaches and the role of community for the effective schooling of the children.
The programme was highly appreciated by all the people and demanded to conduct further such type of programmes in future so that the people of far flung and rural areas may also get acquainted about the importance of education and improvement in its quality as per the modern challenges of life.
