| Poem recitation competition held | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 17: Delhi Public School Jammu organized an 'English Poem Recitation Competition for class Prep in the Pre - Primary Wing of the school. In the said competition 40 Students took part very enthusiastically.
Anita Manhotra Lecturer at S.I.E, Jammu was the Judge for the competition. She was impressed by the confidence, clarity and expression of the tiny tots on the stage.
After hearing all the competitors, she declared six toppers. Priyanshi Sharma, Pranvi were declared on first position, Paru Sharma, Sachvi Sharma were adjusted on second position and Ekaumjeet and Riyanjeet were adjusted on third positions respectively.
Speaking on the occasion Principal, Sudarshan Sonar encouraged the participants. He also expressed that such competitions are organized in the school on regular basis mainly for the purpose of enhancing the recitation, poetic skill and competitive habit among the students.
