| Grand Parents Day celebrated in Humming Buds | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 17:To honour and appreciate the importance of Grandparents in our society and families, Humming Buds, the pre-school branch of Model Academy, celebrated Grandparents Day today as part of its platinum jubilee celebrations. Grandparents are the ones that bind our families and teach our children the true meaning of staying together. Chief Guest for the occasion Dr. Arun Gupta, Chairman MIER Group of Institutions, acknowledged that grandparents are the strong foundation on which our society grows and our children blossom. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort & valuable lessons in life. Even present on the occasion was Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER.
Bubbly children from all the three levels of Humming Buds, ‘O’, ‘A’, &’A+’, performed on the songs ‘If you are happy & you know it’, ‘Tai Tai Phis’ from Chillar Party & ‘I’m just like you’–a Usha Uthup song.
Ruchika Gupta, Project Director, welcomed all the Grandparents and Rupa Gupta, Principal R.R. School engaged them in a fun interactive session. Certificates were given by Jt Director MIER, Dr. Adit Gupta to the participative Grandparents for the Best Dancing Couple, Best Singing Couple & the Longest Together Staying Grandparents.
Co-ordinator, Gayatri Kotwal, proposed the vote of thanks and applauded the Grandparents for making the world...a little softer, a little kinder, and a little warmer.
