Youth Congress membership launched at Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kishtwar, Sep 18: Indian Youth Congress has formally launched its membership drive programme in mountainous district Kishtwar on Sunday. In an impressive function held at TRC Kishtwar the Loksabha Returning Officer Rana Harinder Singh issued the enrolment forms and addressed the youth Congress activists. On this occasion office bearers, senior Congress leaders, youth Congress leaders and activists were present. While speaking on the occasion Rana said that the membership drive will continue till 8th October which will be followed by the internal organizational election. He said that organizational elections would be held from the booth to State-level and membership will be open for the youth of age group 18 to 35 years. Speaking on the occasion Pardeep Singh Parihar president DCC Kishtwar stressed upon the youth to do membership at large scale and be part of Indian Youth Congress. Whereas vice president PCC Sheikh Ghulam Haider and dist. President INTUC Raj Kumar Badyal threw light on the party affairs and activities in the district. District president Youth Congress Sheikh Nasir Hussain while welcoming the decision of party leadership of holding organizational elections said that system developed by Rahul Gandhi is highly appreciable. He assured the leaders that he will personally see that this time the enrolment should go more and more from across the district.
