| Teachers swapping jobs hurting Doda educational system | | | EARLY TIMES REMORT
Doda Sept, 18: What could be more hilarious for the education department in Doda district when a teacher whose job was to teach and impart knowledge to the children have been forced to do a job of clerk in one of the schools .
While teachers attachment has become a major problem in educational institutions in Doda district, but now the teachers being forced to work on administrative positions have emerged as new issue.
According to the reliable sources , the 40 teachers had been posted in different school in Doda and Bhaderwah but out of them 9 government teachers and master attached in CEO office, Doda and 10 teachers Zonal Education office (ZEO), 1Ret and other members have been transferred as per their wishes.
The standard of education is falling day to day in Doda district as according to sources within the CEO Office Doda 60 % teachers are attached and rural schools are at the mercy of God .
It is pertinent to mention here that the shortage of teachers and other staff member are a big problem herein Bhaderwah , Thatri and Gundoh then after that the education department attached the teacher as a clerk and other places but why the education department not published the clerk vacancies for filled up the clerk posts and the teachers doing their jobs properly.
According to sources, many of the teachers have used high approach and political connections to save themselves from performing their duties and enjoying the salaries without performing any work and CEO Doda is mum.
They further said that due to careless of CEO Doda the schools are facing problem due to lack of staff, but many blue eyed boys have been attached themselves as per their wish, despite the fact that they have been transferred in the district to serve the students.
Interestingly, this types of functioning going on without any unabated and no one high rank officials stop this practice because CEO according to sources said he have full political back and no one earth can stop me .
Sources further informed that many teachers in the Doda district are doing construction works of school by their self which is offence and there is misuse of Mid day Meal at Bharath , Gundoh ,Desa , Assar zone , Bhaderwah Zone and instead of repeated complaints CEO Doda is mum.
Sources maintained that as per the government norms the appointments made under Rehabare-E-Taleem (ReT) are not supposed to transfer or even attached during its service in the education department, but neglecting these norms the CEO Doda are making transfers and attachments of these employees.
Even the behind the nose of the CEO Doda many teachers and lectures are doing private tuitions and are in touch with CEO Doda .
It is also pertinent to mention here that CEO is here at Doda from the last three years and have completed his tenure but due to hand in glow with some self styled political leaders he is regularly sabotaging the educational scenario of the area added sources .
When contacted Director School Education, Jammu Gulzar Qureshi said that the matter is not in his knowledge, now he will take action against the accused at the earliest.
