| Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan’s birth anniversary | | Preparations to celebrate birthday discussed | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 18:In connection with celebrating the birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, Trikuta Nagar Mahajan Sabha Ward No 52, 53 and 54 today held a joint meeting of the office bearers, patrons along with other members of biradri at Garden Estate Trikuta Nagar here today.
The programme commenced with recitation of Gayatri Mantra.
Bal Krishan Gupta Chairman highlighted the activities undertaken by Mahajan Sabha Trikuta Nagar and revealed future programs for the welfare and upliftment of Biradri.
He appreciated the hard work put in by the presidents B D Gupta ward. No 54 Narinder Gupta ward no 53 Tarsem Gupta ward no 52 to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.
Jagmohan Gupta Chief Patron while speaking on the occasion advised the participants that Mahajan Sabha Trikuta Nagar should organize the birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan with great zeal and enthusiasm. He threw light on crucial role of Mahajan Sabha in advising Maharaja Hari Singh for taking a decision regarding accession of J&K state with India.
All the three presidents BD Gupta, Narinder Gupta and Tarsem Gupta jointly told the members that they will organize this function with full fervour and gaiety in Garden Estate Trikuta Nagar. The date for the proposed function will be announced later on.
Sushil Mahajan Patron of Mahajan Sabha Trikuta Nagar appealed to the members of the Biradri to strengthen the brotherhood. He also advised Biradri members to always come forward for helping the poor.
