Cong, NC workers join BJP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: In a function held at Manwal, over two dozen workers of Congress and National Conference joined BJP in the presence of party’s local MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma.
They were welcomed into the party fold by garlanding by MLA and other leaders of the party. Jugal Kishor Sharma also addressed a public gathering after the joining ceremony.
Welcoming the Congress and NC workers into BJP, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that a wave of change among the masses, including the workers having long association with the ruling parties like the NC and the Congress is being witnessed.
They have realized that both these parties have always worked for the benefit of those who have links with the leaders and the grass root workers are being ignored.
Moreover, the people and the workers have also understood the politics of the National Conference and Congress and concluded that their appeasement policy for the sake of chair is dangerous for the state as well as the nation.
He said that the workers who joined BJP have expressed full faith into the principles and ideology of the party and told that it is the only party which is working towards the mitigation of the suffering of the common people besides standing like a rock against the anti-national elements and working towards strengthening the nationalist forces in the state.
The Congress workers who joined BJP on the occasion included Lambardar Amar Nath, Retd. SI Kapoor Singh, Ramaloo Ram, Naseeb Singh, Babli Singh, Shosha Ram, Pawan Kumar, Guddu Ram, Krishan Lal, Surinder Singh, Ravinder Singh, Chartu Ram and Bulla Ram.
Rajinder Singh, a prominent NC worker of the area also joined BJP alongwith his supporters.
