PDP’s progressive policies attracting people: Bajwa | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 19: Impressed by the progressive programmes and policies of the party, a large number of political activists including some Sarpanches and Panches today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of senior party leaders.
Welcoming the new entrants in the party, vice president PDP Trilok Singh Bajwa said that it was all due to the policies of the party that large number of people were coming forward to join PDP.
He said that PDP was a movement to address aspirations of the people of all the regions of the state.
Senior PDP leader said that joining of such a large number of political persons was a clear indication that progressive policies of this party have been attracting all sections of the society and people in large number coming to join PDP.
He said that policies and programmes of the PDP were formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society.
Bajwa especially mentioned that since its formation PDP has been furthering cause of the all sections of the society. He impressed upon the new entrants to work with dedication to serve the people. He said that PDP, as a political group, working assiduously to address aspirations of the people.
Prominent among those who joined PDP included Parminder Singh alias Raju, Rajinder Singh Sarpanch, Harminder Singh, Naib Sarpanch and large number of their supporters. They were motivated by Santokh Singh, vice president of the PDP block R S Pura to join the party. Hussain Ali wafa, State Secretary, Rajinder Manhas, Vice President Youth Wing, Chatter Singh Saini, Chuni Lal Choudhary, Baldev Singh Pappa, Santokh Singh, Chander Slathia, Raiz Atish, Varinder Singh Sonu and Rashpal Billoria were also present on the occasion. |
