| Khajuria apprised of various problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Ramnagar, Sept 20: Series of meetings were addressed by Member Legislative Council and vice president JKPCC Yash Paul Khajuria at Kanah, Dalsar, Thaplal and Slathar panchayats in Ramnagar block.
A large number of Congress workers appraised him about the problems of drinking water, low voltage, installation of electric poles, opening of dispensaries, shortage of teaching staff in schools and dilapidated condition of roads and paths.
Surpanch Vikram Singh of Kanah demanded opening of dispensary and a veterinary hospital in his panchayat besides providing drinking water at village Pathiyal, Praypattan da dabbar, construction of road from Massal to Gadni.
Surpanch Raj Kumar of Dalsar demanded installation of electric poles and start of defunct water supply schemes.
A deputation of Labour Union Ramnagar headed by its chairman Sanjeev Jandyal and president Krishan Chand appraised Khajuria about their problems and demanded increase of wages under MGNREGA. They also demanded that safe drinking water supply for entire Ramnagar tehsil.
Surpanch K D. Singh of Thaplal, Surpanch of Salater demanded that drinking water be provided as the people are suffering due to shortage of drinking water. They demanded construction of paths in their respective Panchayats. Village Kaghot also demanded the construction of path linking to school as the children are facing hardships in absence of a proper path.
Khajuria assured the panches, surpanches of the area that their problems would be taken up with the concerned authorities and addressed properly.
Prominent among those who were present in the meeting includes Ashok Bakshi, Surinder-Advocate, Vijay Manhas, Vinod Khajuria, Sanjeev Jandyal, Sunil Badyal, Gopal Sharma, Mustaq Ahemd, Des Raj Khajura, Parveen Kumar and others.
