Three week training programme commences in MAM College | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 20: A three week training programme in Communication Skills for hostel boarders organized by career counseling, placement and Information centre of Government MAM College in collaboration with Department Of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu commenced today. Dr. Poonam Dhawan, Director, Department Of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest. She advised the students to take the maximum benefit of the programmes organized by the Career counseling centre. Prof. Atul Sharma was the resource person from the University of Jammu. Various tips were given by the resource person on the enhancement of the communication skills of the students. Prof. (Dr.) Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college emphasized that the Career Counseling Centre is offering various learning opportunities to the students on communication skills, personality development and facing interviews with an objective to strengthen their knowledge base, competence and skills. Dr. Raj Shree Dhar, coordinator of the Programme presented Key note address. Prof. Savita Jamwal delivered welcome address and Prof. l.A. Khan presented formal vote of thanks. On the occasion, two hostel boarders namely Anirud Sharma, B.Sc.1I1 and Najmus Saqib B.A. III also shared their experiences about their participation in such type of programmes. Others who were present on the occasion were Dr. Bharti Prabhakar, Dr. Pallvi and Dr. Kavita Suri from Deptt. Of Lifelong learning, University of Jammu.
