| DPS Jammu provides platform to the budding singers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 20: Delhi Public School Jammu organized an Inter House Solo Singing Competition for classes IX - XU where students from all the five houses participated .The competition was based on “Devotional Songs”.
Professor Suraj Singh, Prof. of Music and Fine Arts College Jammu and a renowned Gazed Singer was the esteemed Judge. Seema Aggarwal was the Guest.
The students gave fabulous performance .Prof. Suraj Singh congratulated and appreciated the students and the teachers for their outstanding performance. He laid stress on Respecting the Guru as this is the only key to success. He also presented a wonderful gazal for all the budding singers and audience.
Further Samiya Khaliq (Tawi House ) was adjudged First, Vasumdra Pandita (Jhelum House) bagged second and Roshni Handa (Chenab House) settled for the Third Position.
Sudarshan Sonar Principal Delhi Public School Jammu, congratulated the students for their mesmerizing stage performance quality of voice and confidence and highly appreciated the effort put in by the music teachers and other teachers in organizing such a lovely and melodious event.
He later awarded the winners for their excellent performance.
