| Beauty culture , dress making trades’ function held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 20: A function for distribution of certificates in beauty culture and dress making trades was held at Kantowal and Gurha Singh Block Marh.
M.A. Kohli Director, Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and he delivered a brief lecture on the scheme of Jan Shikshan Sansthan to participants /beneficiaries for the importance of vocational courses.
Keeping in the lines with the national endeavour to eradicate illiteracy a large number of trainees of Jan Shikshan Sansthans and their family member were involved in programmes to create awareness about importance of literacy in the life.
Some females desired for opening of new centre like hand embroidery and phulkari work.
