| Shoaib ‘ruined’ Congress: Viqar Rasool | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Sept 20 (KNS): Youth Congress General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Utrakhand, Viqar Rasool on Tuesday alleged that state youth Congress president, Shoaib Nabi Lone ruined the party in the state.
Talking to KNS Viqar said, “Shoaib is taking undue advantage of Congress and is issuing statements even after the youth Congress has been dissolved by the high command. Since Shoaib was appointed as youth president, Congress has been ruined in the state.”
He said that Shoiab has no authority to issue statements on behalf of the party as the youth wing has already been dissolved.
Viqar who also represents Banihal constituency in the state Assembly said, “Rahul Gandhi is vesting Kashmir after which a membership drive would be launched. Youths in the age group of 18-35 will be eligible for becoming youth Congress members.”
He said that party has target of five lakh members in the state.
