Kranti Dal leaders visited Pouni block | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 20: Kranti Dal leaders visited block Pouni, led by General Secretary Pritam Sharma and Jagdish Sudan (city Gen. Secy.) and interacted with the people of Panchyat halqa Dadwa, villages Ghai Zagir and Godar Zagir (ward no. 6, 7). People residing in these areas said that they are facing problems like road, electricity, water, dispensary and school. The population of the area is nearly 800 with nearly 120 houses. They said that the people of the area are very poor. MLA or any other leader never visited the area except in the election time. The local said that nearly 80 houses of the area are living in very poor conditions here. Jagdish Sudan disclosed that there is no road connectivity with the village. Children of the area have to go nearly 12 Kms from their village to attend their classes as the middle school is nearly 10 Kms. away. They have to pass difficult terrain to reach there. They have to walk on foot due lack of road facility. Further, Sudan said that people have to work very hard for basic amenities of living like water. They have to descent a hillock nearly 2 kms to fetch water from the stream and then have to trek 2 kms.
