| Padha elected as chairman ISBTI J&K Chapter | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 20: The election of ISBTI J&K Chapter which was fallen due this year were held under the supervision of Dr Ravinder Ratten Pal who was appointed as Returning Officer to conduct free and fair elections and was assisted by Dr Vijay Sawhney.
Anil K Padha was elected Chairman ISBTI J&K Chapter unopposed whereas Dr M. I. Qadri former “HOD Blood Transfusion Service Kashmir Medical College, Srinagar as Vice Chairman, Dr Sushma Matto Medical Supdt, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was elected as Secretary whereas Ravi K Gupta, CA was elected as Treasurer besides two Executive members were also elected which includes Dr Shahid Mughal from Health department and Dr Meena Sidhu from Blood Bank GMC, Jammu.
The results were announced by the Returning Officer in the presence of various members present in the Press Club and Dr T R Raina the former Chairman and present National General Secretary of ISBTI J&K Chapter welcomed the new office bearers and requested all the members to extend support to the new team of ISBTI J&K Chapter.
Padha while addressing the members requested them to strengthen the organization and promote the cause of Voluntary Blood Donation at the district level and announced that a directory of ISBTI members J&K Chapter shall be prepared shortly and quarterly meeting shall be organized in future.
Dr Sushma Matto thanked the members and assured to take up for new activities keeping in view the aim and objective of ISBTI. Prominent among those attended includes Ravi Verma, KAS, Dr Kiran, Santosh Mangotra, Arun Gupta, Jawahar Jyoti and Dr Sham Gopal.
