| NAAC grants Grade B accreditation to Rajiv Gandhi College | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sep 20:The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore has granted Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua with Grade B accreditation.
Addressing a press conference, Anu Dogra informed regarding the NAAC decision.
Dogra applauded the efforts of the students, faculty, non teaching staff and the management in successfully organizing the visit of NAAC team during the month of May.
The NAAC peer team comprised of Prof P Ramaiah as Chairperson, Prof Girijesh Kumar as coordinator and Dr N K Bansal as member. She congratulated all the stakeholders of the college and expressed satisfaction that Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education is one of the very few B.ED Colleges in J&K which has been accredited by NAAC.
Dogra emphasized that the college shall continue to make consistent efforts to achieve the goal of excellence in teacher education. She also read out the congratulatory massage sent by Prof. Rajive Gupta, Director CDC, University of Jammu who appreciated the efforts of the Dogra Cultural and Educational Trust Kathua for enhancing the standard of teacher education and moving on the path towards excellence.
