NC led regime miserably failed to honour mandate of people: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPOERT Jammu, Sept 20: Terming National Conference (NC) led coalition regime as non performing liability, president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that the state has once again plunged into unprecedented crises due to the mis-governance of the present dispensation headed by Omar Abdullah. Addressing a function to welcome large number of youth who joined PDP, party general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh said that except promises nothing concerted has been done by this government during the last about three years. He said that this regime appear only on papers because the ruling elites were more particular about issuing press statements and conducting photo sessions to befool the people rather than taking effective steps on grounds. He said that due to failure of the government to connect itself with the common masses, resentment brewing among the people. He further warned that mis-governance of NC led regime would further fuel alienation among the people because the common masses, braving all odds, had expressed faith in the democratic process with a hope that the democratic elected government would solve their day today problems. Welcoming those who joined PDP, Singh exhorted them to spread message of party in their respective areas. Veteran leader and former Minister Sardar Rangil Singh, former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa, former MLC Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh, Hussain Ali, Capt Anil Gour, R K Bali, Som Nath and others also present on the occasion. Prominent among those who joined PDP included Surinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Dalbeer Singh, Jamit Singh, Manpreet Singh, Jupinder Singh, Ranbir Singh, Tejpal Singh, Manpreet Singh, Jatinder Singh and others.
