| Brazilian Army Chief visits Nagrota garrison | | |

General Francisco Roberto de Albuquerque, the Brazilian Army Chief visited Nagrota garrison today. The General was accorded a red carpet welcome and was received by Lt Gen TK Sapru, General Officer Commanding 16 Corps. A highly decorated soldier, General Albuquerque took over as Brazilian Army commander on March 31, 2000.
The Brazilian Army chief had interaction and discussion with General Sapru on varying subjects of mutual interests. General Albuquerque was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Maria Antonina Teixeira pinto de Albuquerque and their staff. The Brazilian delegation departed for Agra in the afternoon.
