| Cultural Academy felicitates Avinash Choudhary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 21:-J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Nami- Dogri Sanstha today felicitated a multi-faceted personality of the J&K State Avinash Choudhary in a very simple but impressive function held in K.L Saigal Hall of the Academy.
In felicitation function he was given a shawl, memento and a citation.
Mohan Singh a Sahitya Academy awardee and a renowned Litterateur read out a detailed paper on the life and works of Avinash Choudary in different fields.
The paper was appreciated by the chief Guest Soujanya Sharma Joint Director Information Department and Anand Lehar senior Advocate Supreme Court of India who presided over the function. They both during their addresses to the sizeable gathering gathered on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Harish Kaila and Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in recognizing the contribution of the Litterateurs from time to time.
Earlier the programme started with the welcome address delivered by Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary Divisional office Jammu J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Jammu. She in her welcome address assured the Literary organization to come forward for the promotion of Art, Culture and Languages and the Academy shall stand by them in every kind of assistance.
A Galaxy of litterateurs, Senior Citizen and Art Lovers were present on the occasion.
Yash Paul Yash General Secretary of the Nami-Dogri Sanstha conducted the proceedings of the programme and also delivered vote of thanks.
