NC led regime callous towards peoples’ woes: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 21: Terming National Conference led coalition as non performing liability; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today regretted that since its formation this regime has been befooling the people by one or other way. Addressing a gathering at Patta area of Raipur-Domana assembly segment, PDP leaders said that ruling National Conference has lost credibility of the people due to mis-governance and rampant corruption in the state. They said that since its formation this regime has been indulged into corrupt practices. Lambasting National Conference led coalition regime for its failure to bring transparency and accountability in the administration, they observed that legalizing corruption and nepotism was the only noticeable achievement of Omar Abdullah regime. PDP leaders regretted that the present dispensation has betrayed people of Jammu and Kashmir because all promises made with the people during the Assembly elections remained on papers. They regretted that common masses in the state have been struggling with number of problems but the members of the ruling coalition have been using state resources for their personal comforts. Calling upon the party workers to educate the people about the misdeeds of this regime, they said that Government was neck deep in corruption from top to bottom and leaders of the ruling party have been brazenly indulged in accumulating huge wealth by misusing their position. Pointing towards again starting of backdoor appointment in the government jobs, they cautioned that such type of steps would be proved disastrous for the State because alienation among unemployed youth has been increasing. Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh, Thakur Suram Singh and others addressed the function.
