| HBET distributes scholarships to 41 students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 21:Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust distributed scholarships to the children of Chakrohi, Deharayan and Doomi, Hirachack, Jaswan on the 3rd day of scholarship distribution function.
Dr Madhu Khuller, Director, Health Services Jammu, was the Chief Guest at the Scholarship distribution function where Rs 24,000 was disbursed as scholarships among 41 students.
She appreciated the activities and efforts made by the Trust for uplifting the girl child Education. She also suggested to approach her for any kind of medical services may require by the Trust in future.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Trustee Kunil Bhalla highlighted the all round support to the children i.e. medical, psychological, financial and material. He thanked the University of Jammu as well as the donors for their support to the Trust.
On the occasion, medical checkup, counselling sessions, evaluation test were also organized for the students. Selection of students for scholarships was made on the basis of academic merit and financial need from various schools of Jammu region.
