Denial of relief to Jammu migrants
JKNPP warns of protest in front of Parliament
9/21/2011 9:47:22 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 21:Panthers Party has warned the Chief Minister and his anti-Jammu Relief Commissioner responsible for defying the orders of the Supreme Court of India to provide relief to the Jammu Migrants at par with Kashmiri Migrants.
Addressing a press conference here today, the party General Secretary Anit Thakur cautioned the government to get ready to face the movement of the people of Jammu for their anti -Dogra stance which Kashmiri rulers have been pursuing since 1947 against the people of Jammu.
She lamented that the High Court direction has been flouted shamelessly by the Relief Commissioner and his Kashmiri bosses allegedly to teach Jammu Migrants a lesson for going to the Supreme Court.
Thakur said that Panthers Party demands immediate action for contempt of the court against the Relief Commissioner and the Chief Minister for defying the orders of the Supreme Court of India. The Chief Minister can spend crores of rupees on his helicopter sorties and rebuilding his house at the cost of the people but he has no care to implement the orders of the Supreme Court though this money is to be spent by the Government of India.
Panthers leader informed that Talwara Migrants shall organize a strong peaceful protest in front of the High Court of J&K very soon demanding the contempt application to be heard by the Court and appropriate action against the culprits including the Relief Commissioner.
Talwara Migrants shall also march to Delhi to protest in front of the Parliament of India to seek justice and equity.
