| Two killed, nine others injured in road mishaps | | |

Two persons lost their lives in road accidents; nine others suffered injuries while an unidentified body was recovered from Bus stand at Railway Station here today.
A police report said three persons, including a woman, sustained injuries when the Maruti car met with an accident at Dhiam in Akhnoor area. The injured were shifted to GMC Hospital here where the woman identified as Chander Kanta wife of Krishan Sharma of Akhnoor was declared as brought dead. The two others injured in the accident namely Kaka son of Krishan Sharma and Krishana wife of Dhani Ram are under treatment in the hospital.
In the meanwhile Jagdev Singh son of Sadhu Singh of Kanji House who was injured in a road accident at Bus Stand on December 2 last expired in GMC Hospital here today.
Seven persons sustained injuries when an Auto NO JK2B/77044 collided with a motorcycle at Hiranagar today. The four seriously injured were shifted to GMC Hospital here for specialized treatment while the remaining three have been admitted in SDH Hiranagar.
