| Beopar Mandal protests delay in work on Kalibari-Kathua road | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sep 22:-The Beopar Mandal of Kathua held a massive protest against the district administration for delaying the completion of construction of road from Kalibari to Kathua town for the last five years.
The protest was attended by several shopkeepers under the leadership of president of Beopar Mandal Kirpal Singh. They accused the executing agency and district administration for adopting anti-people attitude as they failed to expedite the construction work of Kalbari to Kathua road which is in dilapidated condition. The protesters said that the work on road is left uncompleted. The pot holes on the road are inviting danger to the commuters as many accidents have occurred and people got injured seriously.
They warned the administration and executing agency that if the work is not completed soon, the Mandal will launch massive protests. In the protest,
Bhanu Partap Singh, Raju, Hardev Singh and Navdeep Singh were present.
