JAMMU, September 22: To promote Hindi, Punjab National Bank Circle
Office Jammu organizes Poetry Recitation competition at circle office
in which various staff member from different branches participated.
Apart from this, the September month was celebrated as Rajbhasha month
in which various programmes are being organized throughout the month
to promote Hindi.
The function was presided over by Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager,
circle Head J&K Operations. Speaking at the function, Gupta stressed
upon the staff members to do their maximum work in Hindi and said that
PNB is adhering to the guidelines issued from time to time by
Government of India in this regard.
He informed that the Bank is working whole heartedly in this direction
to achieve the various targets for promotion of Hindi.
Harnek Singh, Assistant General Manger, Jammu Circle welcomed the
panel of judges 7 the participants. A K Mota, Chief Manager, Circle
Office Jammu gave detail of various achievements of Circle. Dr. Raj
Jamwal from Government Women College, Parade and Dr Amar Singh from
Regional Research Labotary, Jammu were panel of judges.
The programme was conducted by Jagdish Lal Bangotra, Manager
Rajbhasha. Prizes were distributed to winners of various Hindi
competitions. Vivek Suri and RC Bhat were adjusted on first position,
Amit Kumar on second position and Shubhlata on third.
In the Poetry recitation competition Gurmeet Singh was adjusted at
first position and Ramesh Chander Bhat at second position.
