| BCCI announces tenders | | |
New Delhi: July 31, 2006: The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the release of three new tenders following the Marketing Sub Committee Meeting held in Delhi last week. The three tenders are for appointment of Official Provider Formal Wear and Accessories for the Indian Team (from September 2006 to August 2010), Event Management Partner to produce and execute the BCCI Ratings and Awards (from September 2006 to August 2011), and Partner to market and sell Ground Rights at all Overseas Neutral Venue Matches (from September 2006 to March 2011).
The Tenders will be available to from 10.30am on Thursday 3rd August 2006 at the BCCI offices at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The last date of submission of all three tenders is Friday August 11th 2006 at the same venue. The bids will be opened and the winners announced at the BCCI Marketing Sub Committee meeting in Chennai on 14th August 2006.
A decision on the partners for the Web Portal will also be taken on 14th August.
The Committee also announced the Tri Series of 7 ODI's between India/Australia and West Indies scheduled to be played in September this year in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur as part of the newly formatted Neutral Venue Schedule. India will play two matches against Australia and two against West Indies and the finals will follow this. Singapore will host the first three-day One Day International's while Kuala Lumpur will host the following four One Day International's. Cricket Australia will be managing and consolidating all ground handling for the series. |
