| ABVP secretary joins Youth Congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Sep 23:A prominent young social activist and former secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu University unit Touseef Iqbal Butt along with his supporters joined Youth Congress in presence of District President Youth Congress Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain.
On this occasion Touseef Butt said that he was impressed with the programmes and policies of youth Congress and its icon Rahul Gandhi and decided to join the organization. He expressed full faith and confidence over the leadership of Sheikh Nasir.
Speaking on this occasion Sheikh Nasir said, “Today’s youth is intelligent, smart and politically conscious they realize it that the only Congress party’s ideology which has practical applications in the current scenario of the nation.” Welcoming the new entrants in the party, Sheikh Nasir said that it was all due to the policies of the Rahul Gandhi that large number of youth were coming forward to join IYC.
He impressed upon the new entrant to work with dedication to serve the people and take the active part in on going membership drive going on in the district like other parts of state. On this occasion senior youth congress leaders Nadeem Iqbal, Sandeep Sen, Jalal-ud-Din and Rafaqat Lone were also present.
