Bovine smuggling bid foiled

UDHAMPUR, Sep 23:Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid when it arrested two persons and seized 11 bovines being carried to Kashmir valley.
According to sources, during a routine checking at Jakhani Naka during wee hours, police intercepted one person namely Laju age son of Pappi Gujjar resident of Kherdyan, Talab Tillo Jammu and one lady namely Balo wife of Noor Din, resident of village Krade near Raliway Station who were carrying 11 heads of bovine animals towards valley without any permission. Both the accused have been arrested and a case under section 188/RPC was registered against them.
