| CRSI meet gets overwhelming response on 2nd day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 23:The CRSI meet being organized by the Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu, in collaboration with IIIM Jammu got an overwhelming response today, on the second day of the conference where around 400 school and college students took part in the deliberations along with eminent chemists from India and abroad. The Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University, Prof. Varun Sahni, also took part in the proceedings and gave away mementos to the visiting dignitaries.
Earlier, addressing the scientists and students, Prof R.N.K Bamezai laid emphasis on interdisciplinary studies saying that boundaries between varius disciplines have melted down. He stressed upon laying stress on revisiting curriculae to incorporate importance of chemistry in biological studies.
