| Sixty cancer patients examined | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Sept 23:- In the 19th free medical comp organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, here today sixty patients suffering from cancer related ailments were examined by the renowned Oncologist of the country, Dr. Ashok Vaid.
Free medical camps organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust are held every month, at the spacious residential premises of Pawan Kumar Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust.
This was the 16th visit of Dr. Ashok Vaid, Chairman Institute of Oncology Medinta- The Medicity, Gurgaon, to give free check up and consultation to cancer patients.
Besides free medical check up and consultation given to 60 cancer related patients, today, Ashok Vaid also distributed free prescribed, imported medicines worth Rs. 2.5 lakhs to the needy patients.
The patients and their attendants, during the wait for their, turn were also served filtered water and snacks by Pawan Shastri.
Pawan Shastri discloses that gradually full fledged outdoor health facility centre is being setup by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, fully equipped with X -ray equipment, Ultra-sound and other necessary aids.
