| Induction, orientation session of NSS volunteers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 23: The induction / orientation session of NSS volunteers of Unit-11was held in the conference hall of the college. The stipulated orientation course runs for 20 hrs and is attended by each and every inducted NSS volunteer.
The programme was presided over by Ajeet Angral, principal of the college.
The Principal advised the NSS Unit to take new innovative programmes such as campaign against female foeticide, environmental degradation, global warming etc.
The programme schedule for the session 2011-12 was discussed and students volunteers were acquainted with the benefits of NSS. Programme Officer NSS Unit II, Dr. R.K. Bhat gave to students thorough knowledge of NSS -and cajoled them to work with dedication and devotion as NSS plays a very good role for the development of personality of youth for the national upliftment.
In the induction session number of queries was made by NSS volunteers regarding aims and objectives of NSS which were answered by the NSS programme officer in a very simple and effective manner.
The vote of thanks was presented by Shakeel Ahmed NSS volunteer of III year.
