| Anguish shown regarding return package of Kashmiri migrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Sept 23:A meeting of youth Nationalist Congress Party was held under the chairmanship of Rishi Kilam National General Secretary Migrant cell and District Youth
President Kulgam wherein irony, anguish and concern was shown regarding the return package of innocent Kashmiri Migrants by the central government and the recommendation of the state government.
In the meeting it was resolved that it is a mockery with the Kashmiri migrants. Both state and central government is befooling once again the migrants. The displaced migrants have the numerous issues and problems which the government has to address first.
The package of 20 lakh's per displaced family cannot tempt or thrill the poor migrants. The irked youth of the party warned the state and central government to think twice .before announcing the baseless and wrong policies regarding the migrants. The government should first announce the clear cut policy a bout the Kashmiri migrants.
How can an innocent migrant go from door to door in Kashmir for purchasing of land and that too for Rs 20 lakhs when he is also on the mercy of the state authorities.
Migrants are aware of the facts that many packages were announced before this but the packages never reached the migrants.
The packages have gone into the pockets of higher ups. Had the government been' sincere towards the migrants they would not have shifted them. to Jagti (A Jungle) from the town. The center government authorities should visit the quarter provided to migrants at Jagti and they will come to know the reality of the constructions.
The NCP party youth appealed all the migrant brothers to be vigilant about the game plan of the government and to b united to face the ugly designes of the government.
The senior party leaders also spoke on the occasion and appealed the government not to befool the migrant community once again and spoil the bright future of the pandit community as a whole.
