| Shariq's parents hopeful of his early release | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Sept 23: Parents of Shariq Khawar Butt, who was picked up by police and NIA after the terror email was traced to Kishtwar, today hoped that their son would be released soon.
After the September 7 blast outside Delhi high court, email claiming responsibility was alleged to have been sent from a cyber cafe in the town.
Shariq's parents said as their son was found to be "innocent", they were hopeful that he would be released soon.
Police sources said Shariq would be released from police custody soon after the completion of legal formalities. "We have to do some legal formalities before releasing him as nothing adverse is found against him," the sources added.
Sources said no innocent would be made the scapegoat. |
