| Parents of suspects term media reports 'speculative, theatrical, far-fetched' | | New Delhi High court blast case | | Asif Iqbal Naik KISHTWAR, Sept 23: Parents and relatives of the New Delhi High Court blast terror e-mail suspects have termed the media reports "one-sided, far-fetched, speculative, theatrical and mostly above all based on suspicion." They have negated the version of National Investigating Agency (NIA) and said that while the media has been saying too much about the involvement of their children, the agencies who have booked them are silent. They maintain that silence of agencies has badly dented image of their children and stretched things beyond possibility of repair. Parents of one of the three suspects today claimed that NIA probing terror email link to Delhi High Court blast sent from a local Cyber Café "Global Internet Café" Kishtwar celebrated 16th birthday of Abid Hussain Bhawani in their custody at Kishtwar last week. The claim was made by Attaullah Bhawani, father of Abid Hussain Bhawani presently under the custody of NIA at Delhi. Bhawani said that NIA team along with Kishtwar police last week celebrated birthday of his son at District Police Headquarters Kishtwar. "A week ago NIA celebrates birthday of my son, next week they make him (Abid) scapegoat in Delhi High Court blast," claimed Attaullah Bhawani. He said that a senior police officer informed him about celebration of Abid's birthday at the police Headquarter where he had gone to submit date of birth certificate of his son Abid Hussain. He said that his minor son is innocent and is suffering from mental trauma since the death of his mother in the year 2004 due to blood cancer. He claimed that his son is innocent and hoped that court will release him once the trial ends. Meanwhile, Ghulam Abbas Dev father of Amir Abbas, another accused contradicted the media reports published in certain newspapers in which it was claimed that his son Amir Abbas executed the blast outside Delhi High court on September 7, 2011. "Let me clear that Amir has never visited Delhi or Hyderabad. Infact, he has never gone beyond Jammu," said Ghulam Abbas Dev. He said that all reports are based on the suspicion of NIA. "If NIA had proof against my son, then there should be no requirement of further trail in court and it should be finished in one court hearing," said Ghulam Abbas Dev. He urged media to stop speculating. "Let the media person come to Kishtwar and investigate about my son from independent persons irrespective of any religion, caste or color, they will themselves came to know about the innocence of my son." Ghulam Abbas Dev said. He also cleared that his son Amir Abbas never used to help him writing any petition. "What I want to clear is that in lower courts, petitions are written in Urdu language, not in English," Dev said. He said that he is not an expert in writing petition in English. |
