| AIBCU to launch awareness campaign in Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 24:
All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has unanimously decided to launch an awareness campaign in Kashmir province so that the ‘nefarious’ Government policy can be exposed among the Kashmir OBCs.
In the executive meet of the union emphasis was laid on the matter that about 70% of the state population is of Muslims and among Muslims majority belong to the OBCs.
It was unanimously resolved to put all whole hearted efforts to bring awareness among the Kashmir Valley OBC's who are the worst sufferers in the state due to the exploiting policies of the State Govt with the aim to make the poor more poor.
A team of the union accompanied by State President Abdul Maj id Malik President of the Union toured the Kashmir area to make the State OBCs realized that Govt and major political parties in the Jammu and Kashmir are also against the State OBCs.
During the conduct of the meets at different places in Kashmir the OBCs were made aware that the policy of the Govt. is only to garner the OBC votes and not to give any benefit under Apex Court's Judgment.
