| “Grand Parents” celebrate at Jodhamal Juniors | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 24: Jodhamal Public Schools celebrated it’s “Grandparents Day” in the school premises today.
The programme started with lighting of the lamp & a welcome address by the principal rishna Bhati.
The little angels put up a variety of cultural bonanza for their grand parents with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The day’s programme was multicultural, thus splashing the Jodhamal School preprimary canvas with its unique variety of colours.
The aim of organizing such programme is to inculcate high moral values and respect for grandparents & senior citizens among the students. The grandparents enthusiastically participated in all the events and games. They also shared their views on the role of Grandparents in the grooming and upbringing of children.
They enjoyed the performance of the tiny tots and appreciated the efforts of the management and the staff to organize such a show & wished to participate in more such occasions.
The Grandparents Day proved to be a good occasion to cement this family bond.
It also gave the grand parents a chance to be familiar with the school culture & ethos and importance of their role in supporting them child’s formative years of development during the child’s school days.
