| NHPC distributes scholarship to 14 under privileged students | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Sep 24:-National Hydroelectric Power Corporation distributed scholarships among 14 under privilege meritorious students belonging to SC/ST community under CSR-CD scheme @ 6000 per student. District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik distributed the scholarship among the students along with General Manager NHPC Kishtwar.
While addressing the students and principals of schools, Malik stress on teacher community to work with zeal and zest for upliftment of education standard in Kishtwar District, which according to DDC is in shamble condition.
He said that educational institutes lacks infrastructure and urged upon the GM NHPC to provide all possible help to the educational institutes.
While parsing the achievements of meritorious students, Malik said that teacher community needs to play an important role in polishing the talent of youths in Kishtwar District. He said that he is working with various agencies for seeking all possible help to boost the education standard of Kishtwar District.
He said that education sector in Kishtwar District is on his top priority.
On this occasion GM NHPC Rajeev Kumar Hastu promises all possible help to deputy commissioner Kishtwar. He said that NHPC is committed for providing all possible help to the local populace of Kishtwar District as and when approached.
He also promises 20 computers for GHSS Girls and assured the principal of the school that same will be provided with in next few months after completion of all formalities.
