| Display Your Talent | | Poster Making, Clay Modelling competitions held | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 24:Poster Making and Clay Modelling competitions marked the third day of inter-collegiate/ Departmental Display Your Talent organized by the Department of Students welfare, University of Jammu.
Prof Jasbir Singh, chairman, campus cultural committee and Prof Neeru Sharma co-chairperson, campus cultural committee were the chief Guest.
In poster making, Arjun Manhas from the Bio-Technology, University of Jammu bagged the first prize whereas Dechan Angmo from Institute of Music and Fine Arts , Jammu and Mehak Bakshi from Govt. Women’s College, Parade bagged the second and third prize, respectively.
Shivali Rani from Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Jammu and Bharti Sharma from Govt. Degree College, Akhnoor bagged the certificates of Merit.
The topics from the poster Making competition were Avoid use of Mobile while Driving, Fashion Week India and Magazine cover: culture/sports.
M A Alnasir, Chander Udhay Singh and Sheikh Nsair Hussain were the adjudicators for the said event.
In Clay Modelling, Chemat Dorjey from Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu bagged the first prize whereas Trishla from Govt Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Bharti Devi from Department of Zoology, University of Jammu bagged the second and third prize, respectively.
The certificates of Merit were awarded to Shikha Singh from Govt. Women college Gandhi Nagar, Mehak Bakshi from Govt. Women College, Parade and Nidhi Datta from Kalra College of Education Udhampur.
The adjudication for the clay Modelling event were Jagpal Singh Bandral, Ganesh Kr Sharma and Vikas Dogra.
The topics for the clay Modelling competition were festival and monuments of J&K State and Looking in the Mirror.
