JAMMU, Sep 24:Shiv Sena Dogra Front has demanded resignation of P Chidambaram from the Union cabinet after his alleged role in the 2G scam came to fore.
Leading a protest demonstration here today, the Shiv Sena president Ashok Gupta also questioned the silence adopted by the Prime Minister over this issue. Prime Minister SManmohan Singh should take nation into confidence by making a statement over the letter written by Union Minister for Finance Pranab Mukherjee over 2G Scam indicating role of P Chidambram.
Ashok Gupta demanded the resignation of P Chitambrum as it has been done in the case of A Raja as no one is above the law.
The credibility of Central Government is at stake, said Gupta.
