| Youth tries to end life by cutting throat | | | KATRA: A youth tried to end life by allegedly cutting his throat with a knife at his residence here late Friday night.
Police said Noor Mohammad, son of Nazir Ahmad, allegedly cut his throat at his residence in the heart of the town here at about 11 pm yesterday.
He was, however, shifted by his family to the CHC, Katra, and later referred to the GMC hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be critical.
Though police had registered a case, the cause behind the provocation was yet to be ascertained.
Police said he tried to end his life soon after he returned home from Srinagar where he had gone to attend a marriage party. |
