Family members express gratitude to ET | Delhi blast accused released | | Asif Iqbal Naik KISHTWAR, Sept 24: Kishtwar boy, Shariq Khawar who was arrested in connection with Delhi High Court blast was released late last evening. "I do not know why I was arrested and why I have been released", he said. Shariq's father while talking to Early times said: "Shariq told DIG about his tuition class on very first day. He told him to allow him to attend his tuition class at 5 p.m. The DIG had assured him release after preliminary questioning." Butt said Sharik will take some time to come out of mental trauma. He has been questioned for 14 days of his detention and it has gone to his head. Once we feel Shariq will come out of the trauma, he will join the school and tuition", he said. Butt also expressed his gratitude to Early Times for highlighting their concern. "My faith over my child's innocence remains my biggest strength. He said that being as father; he will never stop his son to stop access to internet since having knowledge about internet is the need of the hour. "I will provide internet facility to my children at home, since surfing internet for good purpose is not a bad thing", he said. Shariq Khawar Butt (16), student of Class XI in Islamia Faridia Higher Secondary School Kishtwar was in police custody in connection with the ongoing probe of terror email sent from a local cyber cafe "Global Internet Cafe" claiming responsibility of bomb blast outside Delhi High Court. Shariq remained in police custody for 14 days. The National Investigating Agency (NIA) took Aamir Abbas and Abid Hussain to Delhi for further questioning. "We have released him once we get clean chit in favour of Shariq from National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the matter pertaining to Delhi High Court blast", said a senior police official. The blast killed 15 people and injured 80 others on September 7. |
